Internationalisation
The internationalisation of higher education is currently a top priority for schools and universities throughout the world, and is high on the agenda of the Norwegian School of Veterinary Science(NVH).  In Europe, the Bologna Declaration (1999) has opened the door to fundamental change and widespread development on a unprecedented scale. Throughout the continent the ongoing "Bolgna process" addresses important issues such as quality assurance, recognition of degrees and periods of study, two cycle degree system, joint degrees, and increased mobility of staff and students.  The Bologna process is planned to culminate in the formation of the European Higher Education Area (EHEA) and the European Research Area (ERA) in 2010.
Further information can be found here:Bologna process

NVH is an active member of the European Association of Establishments for Veterinary Education(EAEVE), and the Nordic Forestry, Veterinary and Agricultural Network(NOVA), in addition to co-operating with other schools and faculties world wide.  NVH has signed bilateral agreements with the following universities.  The English version of the School's International Strategy may be accessed here.
